Hidden Dumpling House Midtown

Hidden Dumpling House Midtown, located at 2801 P St, Sacramento, CA 95816, is a hidden gem that delivers a fantastic dining experience in a cozy, unassuming space. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the service stands out for being exceptionally attentive, with servers promptly offering hot water and cold drinks, creating a welcoming vibe.

The menu at Hidden Dumpling House Midtown offers a delightful variety of dishes, each crafted with authentic flavors. Among the standout offerings are the soup dumplings, which have earned rave reviews for their rich, savory broth and delicate wrapping. The pork dumplings and potstickers also come highly recommended, showcasing the restaurant's expertise in dumpling preparation. For those craving a heartier meal, the spare rib noodle soup and chicken fried rice are popular choices, both delivering comforting and satisfying flavors. Very solid experience. The service was great, all the servers were extremely attentive. They immediately served us Hot water and cold water, and they charge by the cup for hot tea. Ordered spare Rib Noodle Soup, pork Dumplings, chicken fried rice, and soup Dumpling. All were very solid, not too much to complain about. Great little place in the corner and would come back anytime.

Hidden dumpling house is a hidden gem!!! Wow! Everything was so amazing with authentic flavors and amazing taste. The hot and sour soup was the best I've ever had. The service was amazing by all the ladies working, they were super friendly and attentive. The vibe was super chill, the place is super small inside but nice and clean. All in all I'd highly recommend this spot, we were in town for the night and walked from our hotel. It was a 5 minute walk and super worth it. I can't say enough good things about this spot, I was super impressed. Thank you! Keep up the great work. We will definitely be back when in town.

Hidden dumpling house is a cozy, small spot that makes some great dumplings! We ordered soup dumplings, potstickers, fried rice, Mongolian beef, and spicy garlic green beans. Everything was good! However, our only downfall was the Mongolian beef was very heavy on the onions and it became overpowering. Also, one of my friends got a mango boba and she said it was great! We got there at 4 and there was no wait. By the time we left at about 5:30 all of the tables were full. The servers were attentive, and there is a patio to sit outside if the weather permits. They have coloring pages for kids to do, which is so great! I love the cute decor inside and the murals outside on the building. Check this place out!

First time eating at this place and it was delicious. We ordered: General tsaos chicken Flavor packed, savory, right amount of sauce Egg drop soup The most flavorful egg drop soup I've ever tried I would have this at home on deck at all times. Deluxe Fried rice Comes with shrimp, pork and chicken, good flavor and cooked really well Portion sizes were great, fed us as a family of 3 with left overs Marking this as one of our top go to spots.

I love coming here for the honey walnut shrimp. I usually order pork fried rice and soup dumplings as well. Just know this is a very small space so when it's busy expect a wait. I do wish the waitlist method was a little more organized. We put our name and number on the list but watched other groups that were the same size as us get called ahead even though we were there first. Luckily the host recognized it after we brought it up and sat us down right after.
